Protecting and Restoring Nature through Innovation
On October 3rd, 2024, GreenBox Afrik took centre stage at the Young Green Entrepreneurs Forum, showcasing mushroom bags and a suite of eco-friendly earrings and bags crafted from discarded plastics and fabric. These products are not merely items—they are the result of a visionary process that turns agricultural and plastic waste into economic and ecological assets.

By converting waste into value-added products, GreenBox Afrik reduces environmental pollution while promoting biodiversity conservation. Our mushroom production process, for instance, utilizes agricultural residues such as sawdust and groundnut husks—natural materials that would otherwise go to waste. This not only mitigates the strain on landfills and natural ecosystems but also creates nutritious food for underserved communities.
