Planting the Seeds of Environmental Stewardship in

Our work in schools is perhaps the most hopeful chapter in our story. On January 20th, 2025, we visited the Ahmed Uwaisi Islamic Basic School to conduct an environmental awareness session. We believe that real change begins with young minds. By nurturing environmental consciousness in basic and junior high school students, we are raising a new generation of eco-champions who see waste as a resource and conservation as a shared responsibility.

Our co-founder, Fareeda, inspiring young eco-champions—GreenBox Afrik delivering a climate awareness talk in January 2025. Fareeda Amankwa-Gabbey promoting slow fashion at the Step-Up Incubation Programme, January 2025.

Through our schools programme, students would later engage in recycling competitions, innovation clubs, and hands-on upcycling workshops. Every eco-product we sell supports a child’s access to these educational opportunities, turning consumers into changemakers.
